Training Thermit® Welder

Duration

  • 1 week

Training contents

  • Qualification according to DOI P SE SU 01.02 1 1 - MI.IA.QP.SALD
  • Qualification measures, including the professional training QP SALD-DITTE for the execution of Thermit® welding, comply with the current European requirements according to UNI EN 14730-2
  • The training includes both theoretical and practical content, providing all the necessary knowledge and skills for proper welding according to the latest standards

Requirements & Certificate

  • The course and the Diploma is an essential prerequisite for obtaining the authorization in the field released by RFI for the execution of Thermit® welding
  • After successfully passing the RFI examination, participants receive a welder’s certificate (“Qualificazione Professionale SALD-DITTE”) from the Permanent Central Commission of RFI
  • This certificate authorizes the holder to perform Thermit® welding using the respective processes, both single-use and traditional crucible
  • The specific process permitted is explicitly stated on the certificate
  • The Goldschmidt diploma is valid indefinitely and only needs to be reacquired in the event of a revocation issued by RFI
  • The welder’s certificate also records a personal identification number
  • This number must be used for marking (punching) all welds performed, thereby ensuring complete traceability of the welding work
