Laser-based measurement systems from Goldschmidt enable high-precision, non-contact measurement of geometry and profile parameters in rail infrastructure. Through the use of modern laser technology, track geometry, rail profiles and infrastructure clearances can be measured with high accuracy and repeatability.

The systems capture key parameters such as track gauge, cant, horizontal and vertical track alignment, as well as rail head cross-sections and wear conditions. Furthermore, they enable the measurement of clearance profiles as well as the precise determination of distances and positions, for example in complex infrastructure areas or in urban rail transport applications.

Thanks to non-contact measurement, laser-based systems deliver reliable and consistent results regardless of mechanical wear or operator influence. They are suitable both for continuous measurements along the route and for detailed analyses of individual infrastructure sections.

In combination with high-performance evaluation and analysis software solutions, laser measurement systems enable the precise recording and assessment of geometric condition data as the basis for sound infrastructure planning.
