Milestones

Founded in 1991 in Gliwice, Poland, GRAW began as a specialist manufacturer of geometry measurement systems for the railway and steel industries, focusing on the inspection of rails, turnouts, tracks, and wheels.

Over the following decades, the company expanded its portfolio from measurement devices to comprehensive inspection systems, strengthening its position in international railway markets. Its solutions became widely recognised for their accuracy, reliability, and suitability for demanding railway maintenance applications.

In Poland, GRAW established itself as the leading supplier of measurement devices and inspection vehicles for PKP PLK. The company also developed and implemented a nationwide predictive maintenance database platform that consolidates inspection data from across the railway network into a single system, setting a national benchmark for infrastructure condition monitoring and asset management.

Since 2017, GRAW has been part of the Goldschmidt Group. Through this integration, the company has further strengthened its technological capabilities and international reach, supporting railway operators and infrastructure managers worldwide with advanced inspection, monitoring, and predictive maintenance solutions.
