Thermit do Brasil is the leading provider of Thermit® welding technology in South America. Since 1951, the company has supported the region's major railway infrastructure projects with proven solutions for rail joining, inspection, and maintenance.
Operating a 65,000 m² manufacturing facility in Brazil, Thermit do Brasil develops and produces key consumables for the Thermit® welding process, including disposable crucibles, molds, igniters, sealing pastes, welding portions, and specialized tools, all manufactured in compliance with international standards. The portfolio is complemented by insulated rail joints, track inspection and maintenance solutions.
With more than seven decades of experience, Thermit do Brasil combines technical expertise, high manufacturing standards, and responsive field support to help customers achieve safe, reliable, and efficient railway operations across South America.

Thermit do Brasil was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1951, representing the Goldschmidt Group's first international expansion beyond Europe and the United States.
